  2. Explain how consequentialist and deontological frameworks can lead to different conclusions about the legitimacy of criminal prohibitions of a drug such as cocaine.
  3. Explain how the fuzzy boundaries associated with the term self-regarding actmake it possible for a deontologist to endorse at least some criminal prohibitions on drug possession.
  4. Examine the following proposition: As a matter of justice, American drug-possession laws are unjust. That is, the United States should decriminalize drug possession and should regulate the possession of drugs (through the use of civil and even criminal sanctions) along the same lines currently in place for alcohol possession.
